  1. I came back hoping there’d be another reading or two. Dagnabbit! More of your guys need to do a reading next year. It makes the virtual world seem so much more real. I’ll see you next time. Thanks again for all of you who did a reading.

  2. Geez! The Reading Room is overwhelming and amazing. I don’t ever want to miss this again. Put me down now for Next Year! It was so much fun listening to the wonderfully read excerpts. Just when I thought Jan Sikes couldn’t be topped, along came Wendy Scott’s brilliant reading of Fairy Dust. Larry Landgraf was homey, welcoming and amazing and I didn’t want DL’s reading of The Button to end. I love RRBC! It’s my honor to exist amongst every author in the Reading Room. BRAVA, Ms. Jules!!! You’ve done it again.😍

  3. Well, well, well… Beem Weeks again! Glad you selected another story to read. More candy for us listeners. Great job. Are we having fun yet? I think so!

  5. Ha! Yes, this is a blast. I can easily imagine holding forth in some seedy dive with these motley misfits, bantering about literature, trying to figure out ways to stick Ron Yates with the bar tab, solving life’s persistent questions, and griping about our metaphorical lumbago.

  6. Bravo John Howell! I really enjoyed listening to you. You know how to read and bring your story to life. I purchased this book but will bring it to the forefront to read. Good Job! As an author you have to be brave to step out and record your own video. At least that’s how I feel. Congratulations to everyone here who took the leap.

  7. I find myself wanting to watch more videos. I so wish more authors had shared a reading for all of us to enjoy, and I thank those of you who did. To watch and listen to authors read pieces of their works is so personal and is something I’ll remember for a very long time. Mostly what we see are their photos and book covers on social media, but a reading brings the authors to life. They are real people, unedited, and without fear as they tell their stories. Some are in their PJs and all have a flaw or two, but this only shows that authors are people too. Each time I finished a video, I quickly moved to the next. I could not stop. Thank you #RRBC for the #BooksBudzPopUp Holiday Pop-up Book Shop.

    1. Hi, Larry! I must say that I was going to email you to let you know just how much I enjoyed yours. It made you more “real” to me, so I do understand what you mean by seeing the actual person is so much better than just looking at their cover photos or book covers all the time.

Thanks for your contribution to the Pop-Up! Next year I’m sure we’ll have more!

      1. Thank you, Nonnie. No email necessary, I got the message. I enjoy checking in to see the comments left as well, not just about me, but for all the authors with videos. I’ll probably watch some of them again. This is great stuff. It doesn’t have to be perfect and I’m certainly not the best at reading by far, but I do love making a video. I encourage everyone to join in next year. And thank you and your crew for making this pop-up store happen. Great idea!

    1. Thanks for those kind words, Beem! I didn’t know if you were going to send another one or if you wanted me to post the sample which we used in our promo. Let me know!

And, thanks for ALL your help getting these onto our YouTube channel! You’re amazing!!!

  8. Oh what fun this is. I am browsing around but will be back to start looking for a good book to read. This is really exciting and you know, you always have to look at yourself first. Why is that. lol.

  9. I love this! Thanks to all you brave RRBC authors who took the time to entertain us with your book readings. Who says that great things can’t happen virtually, just the way they happen in real life?

Baha! That’s what I said when I was asked: “Now how do you plan to do that?”

RRBC/RWISA – making great things happen and connecting writers and readers around the world, all from the comfort of our very own homes!

    Enjoy!
